I noticed a large activated orb overhead at 12 o'clock that was "blinking strongly"...setting my camera ready i lost it for a while as it dimmed out to nothing but was still moving west to east...I caught it again as it cut 45 degrees down ward to the left...northerly direction...as it made the turn it basically started dropping at a near vertical descent.

It was PM, the sun was well set to the west and by the time it started to drop vertically downward it was dead set in the eastern skies, defying a satellite flaring as it catches the last rays; well worn story. It continued to drop vertically through stars, on the last of the clip as it passes a bright star it again flares dramatically, and does this three or four more times before I lose it behind the tree line to the eastern side.

The object wasn't in an 'arc' flight path...it literally dropped vertically through the stars downwards rather than in a crescent type of flight path away from me.

The whole time I was filming the focus was manual, preset to Venus earlier, the apperature was manually set, and night vision was on, at no time were the 'flares' my camera 'searching' for the object...it was the object itself creating the flares of light seen.
