It blinked, I watched it to see what it was since it blinked slowly, when it reappeared it "zagged/moved" toward the east, then it blinked again much brighter/bigger and "zagged/moved" closer toward me which was moving south. All together there were four "blinks", the fourth one being much quicker in blinking than the others, it was moving toward, heading to come over me when it "blinked" and I never saw it again. It was like "it/they" sensed or knew I was there, possibly the movement of my dog could have triggered it to "disappear" since I was just standing on my deck right near the house/door area and the dog was in the yard.

As it was blinking the second time toward the east, the path it took was a quick distance in a diagonal move, hard to explain in words but it was fascinating but also gave me goose bumps. There was no other colors, lights, sounds - only the strange way it blinked and moved. No sounds were heard from anywhere around, I stayed outside for another five minutes, no more sightings or movement. It was odd, the night was beautiful, clear, a night with the milky way noticeable, no moon light, just the night skies (I live in the woods/country part with a nice clearing around the perimeter of my home).

I guess the question I have is: are UFOs changing the way they look as years have gone by? I have been a fortunate person to have experienced another episode with a UFO in November 1978 in NYS and that UFO was over my head, five red balls that were always lit but one lit up brighter as it rotated around I'm assuming a circular object. People could think I'm crazy with this one but I felt honored that "it" new I was there and "it" stayed above me for almost 20 to 30 minutes moving closer, disappearing into the clouds above it and coming back out closer to me. I had enough time to go to a neighbors house to see if they were home to witness it, no one, no cars, no one but me.

There is much more in detail than I'm mentioning here, it called me (made a noise/sounds), it had a smell also. I did not report it until about ten years ago, it was an amazing experience, sight and smell that I'll never forget. The 1978 UFO was different than the one I saw tonight, almost thirty years later. In 1978 "it" was not afraid, but now if what I saw was a UFO, it seemed "startled" and disappeared.

I believe in UFOs since I have experienced an amazing event plus I know I have seen other sightings since I was a little girl with my brother, by myself and with my children. My father, who passed recently, has also experienced sightings and told me and others many times what he saw/experienced. I know there are many skeptics, it is understandable, but skeptics should also be as understanding about what us individuals experience/saw.

I know someone would say it was a "plane" or something of the sort, trust me, I have a high IQ and I do know a difference between a plane and UFO. I've corrected people who start panicking over a "sighting" and I explain and show them it is a plane or satellite moving. There is a difference in look, movement, the characteristics of the sighting to every day flying obstacles in the sky that we know about. What I have experienced tonight and the past was not the norm, it was different and yes, I saw a UFO and proud of it and hopefully in the rest of my life time, I'll be honored to see another.

I was curious what it might have been, I don't believe military because why would it disappear, I couldn't see no outline, too far away for that to give any information out on a "new" secret they have. If it was military it would have kept on the same path. Also, where did it disappear to? There were no clouds to go behind, unless it flew fast into the UFOs zone where nothing is noticeable with the naked eye, etc. Or whatever it was just shut its lights out? You got me, it was an Unidentified Flying Object.....
