On Sunday May 6, 2007, and tonight, while during my usual walk with my husband at 12:30 AM mid-night in my neighbor of Tuscany Hills, in Lake Elsinore, California (70 miles SE of LA), we noticed a unusually large bright object in the northwest direction of the sky last night. It moved in a northerly direction slowly and descended slowly from about 20,000 ft to 5,000 ft.
Tonight we saw the same object in front of our house in Tuscany Hills (facing the Lake Elsinore) in the easterly direction. We used our binoculars and saw the object appeared as oval or round shape, very bright. It looked as if it is about 15 to 20,000 feet. However, this time we also notice a smaller, more distant object with flickering red light to the right of this bright object. At first we thought it could be a helicopter, but then after watching it for 45 minutes, we realized it was stationary and quiet and was moving in the same direction as the bright object. They seemed to be moving in the same direction going westward in a very slow manner. On both nights, there was no noise, very quiet, in the neighborhood around midnight hour. We saw the same object as the gentleman from Durate, CA. on May 4,07 few days ago. UPDATE!
Tonight, (05-08-07) at 8:05 PM PST, to the left of our house located in Tuscany Hills, California (70 mi SE of LA) in front of Lake Elsinore (house faces South), while getting out of our car, we noticed to our right, in the WN direction, my daughter and I sighted the same bright object ,and the little flickering smaller object to the right of the light, that I mentioned in the prior email sent to you last night at about 1:30 a.m.. At that time (8:05p.m.), the sky still has some residual light after the sunset, but this same object is very bright, so bright that my daughter thought it was the North Star, but it is definitely not, because in 2 hours, we went out to walk the neighborhood again. This is now 10:05 p.m., these two objects have arisen higher in the sky, about 30,000 ft. By the way, I must mention that there is an air-field next to the Lake (Elsinore). We started walking and focusing on these objects. The smaller object was farther from the big object tonight and, strangely, in a period of about 45 minutes, we noticed that the bright object had slowly descended in the NE direction, from 30,000 ft to probably 2,000 ft and then it can barely be seen. The smaller object had disappeared altogether however. Another strange phenomenon was that, in the last 15 minutes of the 45 minutes (about 10:45p.m.), we notice another bright object ascending out of the East, and there is a very small flickering object to its right. In about 15 minutes since they were sighted, it had arisen from about 5,000 ft to 15,000 ft high in the sky. And these objects are getting higher in the sky as I write this report. I would like to find out if there is anyone out there that might have seen the same objects by using a high power telescope. I hope the fire around the Griffith Park Observatory in Hollywood, CA tonight will be contained so that the observatory can be kept safe. We need to use all the technology we could get to find out what these objects are. But first I know the people in the astronomy field must believe in UFOs before they would expand their energy to find out what these objects are.
