Two witnesses viewed a silent barbell shaped object cross the sky at approx 22:00 hours on August 31st, 2005 in Carter County, TN.

Object was described as seen illuminated by city lights moving slowly to the southeast. Witnesses agreed that the object appeared gunmetal gray and had two large round structures, one front and one rear, connected by a small tube-like structure making up one third of the overall length.

Illumination consisted of two white steady lights on the forward portion of the object and two red lights on the rear structure, one blinking and one steady. Object was described as moving slowly, silently and steady across the sky in a straight path.
