I was the only witness that I know of. I had just gotten the call from my son about his accident and was going out of the front door and down the side walk. I had that feeling to look up (likely because something came from the side at that moment.)

I looked up and saw the huge triangle coming from out of a cloud or behind a cloud. There were some clouds in the sky on this night and some areas that were clearer.

I was facing south heading to my car. It came from behind me which was the north and traveling in a southerly direction. This would have put it directly parallel to interstate 540 in Lowell, Arkansas. The interstate is very close to my home.

I noticed the huge size and very clear triangle shape. None of the corners appeared rounded to me. There were cream or yellow colored lights going across the back or flat edge of the triangle. The lights went about 3/4's ways up from the back, but didn't extend all the way to the front point.

The only way I can guess at the altitude is that it was about the altitude of a plane shortly after lift-off or upon descent to the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport which is between 10 and 15 miles west-northwest of my home.

As previously mentioned there may have been some source of illumination from the top of it, because when it came out of the cloud overhead, the cloud appeared to be a reddish-brown, or maybe burnt orange hue (trying to guess colors as best as possible.) There was no sound whatsoever and it made it feel a bit eerie to see something so low in altitude and so large, yet not hear anything from it. It seemed to have very flowing movement and the speed appeared to be slower than what I see in the airliners that are high in the sky. There were no strobe lights at all. All of the lights were the same color that were visible on the vehicle.

I stopped in my tracks on the sidewalk because it really shocked me and after I said "oh my God" a couple of times, I ran for the door screaming for my husband. He came running out, but by the time he had heard me and I convinced him he had to come out, it was either gone view was obstructed by the next set of clouds. My husband ran out the back door looking but didn't see anything.

I was not looking to see if there were any other witnesses because I was on my way to my son's accident scene.

I am guessing I was looking at the thing for less than a minute. I wish I had thought of counting seconds, but sorry I didn't do that. I have been going out many of the evenings just in case this thing is coming from Whiteman or another base on a regular basis, but I watch the skies frequently and have never encountered anything quite like this one. I have also not seen it since, but I would like to know which plane or whatever it was. I have checked aircraft online and have not found an exact match to what I was looking at.

The amazing thing was how clearly the triangle shape was seen, not just lights, I saw the entire shape of the craft. The thing in my simple guesswork would have been at the back edge more than a football field and more like the width of two. (Note I am thinking of the field at the local high school.) I can't guess at it's length. I was just so surprised at the width of the back. I watched it pass over my house, my next door neighbors and the one next to them while I was standing there. It may have even been long enough to have passed the next house, but I am not sure.

I know I am rambling here, and hope you can sort out what I have said. It has been on my mind since I first saw it because I have never seen a triangular craft and especially nothing like that.
