Attached are three pictures of some clouds that I took in February 2007, in Clinton, MA. I was driving down the road, and suddenly I cleared some trees and I was a bit stunned to see these clouds. My first thought was that it looks like something HUGE just whipped right on through the cloud cover.
My second thought was, no... it's probably just a really strong up-wind current or something. But then I noticed off to the immediate right of the pattern, an odd, elongated rectangular shape punched into the cloud cover. It was like nothing I'd ever seen in the clouds before. It's probably just wind, but it captured my attention enough that I took the pictures. If you have time to share any thoughts, I would welcome them and I thank you in advance. Submitted by S.
