I recognized this forgotten piece of hardware that was sent to the Moon in the mid-60's. It is "Surveyor" and I recognized it by its mast.

The solar panels are pointed straight up and you cannot see them. NASA tried to communicate with it in the late '70's to see if it still worked and it did not. The main battery cells gave out.
