I'd like to report a sighting of an unknown object that occurred on December 28, 2006, at
8:34 PM. The time is indicated on my camera. The object was crossing from west to north
when I first spotted it. I only had time to take two pictures by the time I got the camera out of my pocket and shot. The sighting only lasted maybe 15 seconds.
All I saw of the object was an orange light that was fading to black and back to bright white orange. I don't know if aircraft have strobes that fade slowly to black and then slowly brighten in intensity to full brightness or not but all of the ones that I have seen strobe or flash. The object was about ten degrees above the horizon or less moving very fast. The other lights in the picture are parking lot lights at the municipal building. It's the second light from the right in the middle of the picture. The unknown object was below the parking lot lights in angle and may have been over a mile from me, I don't know. The first picture may be of no use to you since it had faded out but if you look really hard you can find it. The second picture shows if you zoom in on it starfish points of light are coming from it. Or maybe easier to think of it as the Jewish star of David. This may be only an artifact of the camera I was using. I had to use a lot of zoom after I downloaded it from my camera to see any detail. And then again the photos may not be of any worth there is not much detail it appears as only a point of light without the zoom. Thanks again for the great effort you give to the UFO Casebook, Larry and Pam- McKinney Texas.
