During the first week of May, 2006, the BBC News informed the world that the British Ministry of Defence would be releasing a 400 page report on UFO sightings in the United Kingdom. In a matter of days, the voluminous 400 page report was indeed available. Mark Simpson of the BBC News told us that the report was finalized in 2000, and since that time has been kept privately by the powers that be under the heading, "Secret: UK Eyes Only."
This previously confidential report has made its conclusion. There is no proof of alien life forms, and UFO reports can be explained by a little known atmospheric phenomena related to "plasma." The report also concludes that "considerable evidence exists to support the thesis that the events are almost certainly attributable to physical, electrical and magnetic phenomena in the atmosphere, mesosphere and ionosphere. " The author of this report remains unknown at this time. How many other researchers and investigators were involved in the study is also unknown. Thanks be to Sheffield Hallam University's Dr. David Clarke for requesting the findings. The majority of UFO proponents will always believe that governments of the world have, are, and will continue to control any information about UFOs, and only allow disinformation out to the world. Do the governments fear something that they have no control over? Can these unknown objects flying through our atmosphere out maneuver our best technology? Are governments officials so involved in covering up old reports that they are not aware of what is going on around them? The answer to that question is a resounding, Yes! While everyone with eyes to the page are looking at old reports, those with eyes to the skies are still seeing these enigmatic objects flying through our atmosphere. They are being reported, photographed, and videotaped almost on a daily basis.
On the 30th of May a photograph was released which seems to show a UFO which hovered over Selby in the U. K. The image was taken by Selby resident Jody Holden. Russell Killett, fellow member of Holden's in the British UFO Hunters, described the photograph as "one of the most powerful UFO images ever captured."
British residents have also recently reported UFOs over the M6, which is a major British motorway, and also a moon-like object which hovered over the Preston skies. These sightings were made in the Lancashire area, which has been known for its extraordinary videos of UFOs in 2002 and 2003. As many as five legitimate reports have been made in Lancashire recently.
Phone calls were recently made to the Reading Evening Post paranormal hotline when 17-year-old Vicky Chapman, along with two friends reported seeing a glowing, red ball over the skies of Whitley. Vicky was inspired to call in her report after reading another UFO report of a green ball over Southcote on April 7.
Although many researchers put little faith in reports of "young folks," I see no reason why a serious report made by a teenager should carry any less weight than that of a "grownup."
An extremely clear photograph of what appears to be a "fleet" of UFOs were taken over Leigh on Sea in December, 2005. Ironically, the photograph was first sent to the MOD, but, there was no response, so the photographer opted for the UFO hotline, after advice from the CAA. The objects in the photograph are still unexplained. The location of the sighting was Billericay in Essex. Information and photographs are in possession of the Southend UFO Group.
On Easter Sunday, Bridlington resident Paul Sinclair spotted an object moving over Blackburn Avenue about midnight. He managed to take some photographs of the unusual object. He said: "I cannot explain why or how but I sensed something and looked up into the sky. It was very dark with low cloud cover. I could see an orange light and a dark oval shape of some kind within the cloud." "I have to say it was strange knowing there was an object of some sort in the sky."
Michael Soper claims to have seen spaceships soaring across the city's skies and crop circles 300 ft-wide, so it will take more than an official report to convince this Oxford UFO expert aliens don't exist. A confidential four-year study by the Ministry of Defence, made public under the Freedom of Information Act, concluded there is no proof of alien life forms.
But Soper, pictured, a member of the Contact International UFO research group, has spent decades of his life studying unidentified flying objects and believes the MOD's report does not throw any doubt on his findings.
And neither do we, Mr. Soper.
The photographic proof of unknown objects flying in our skies is overwhelming. There are more and more photographs and videos being taken on a regular basis. Many of these images are undeniably "unconventional." The proof is there, it is just a matter of how serious we are about accepting what is right in front of us. To lend a blinded eye to the UFO mystery will only complicate matters later when the real truth is finally made known to us by our governments.
