A witness reported that he was traveling north on US hwy 421 at 07:25. He pulled up and stopped at a traffic light in Mountain City, Tennessee...

As he watched the signal, he noticed a large greyish white elongated disc shaped object slowly moving westward below broken cloud cover. He stated that at first, he thought the object was a blimp or possibly something dangling from the wires attached to the traffic signal.

The realization soon set in that the object was not a blimp and well up in the morning sky. He stated that as the object flew, it would wobble slightly to one side then level back off, showing plainly that it was a flattened, disc shaped object.

As he watched another driver in a vehicle beside him rolled down his window and yelled "what the (expletive) is that ?" The reporting witness stated that as he rolled down his window to answer the other witness, he looked back in the sky and the object was gone.
