The sky was clear and I saw other flashes of white lights of varying lesser intensity between the two brightest ones none higher than the two brightest ones. Then I remembered that the meteors would be in a different direction. My next thought was that the flashes were from jets but wondered why so many would be taking off from Hopkins Airport, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, which is about 30 miles West of my location. Not possible.

The one due NNW flashed again and it hadn't moved from it's original position and as I watched the sky the others continued to flash, not moving from their original positions. I tired to count how many but it was difficult because there was a jet flying across the area, identifiable because it was a weaker light with a tinge of color and moved in a steady direction from West to East while the others remained stationary and were a clear white.

There were at least five or six dimmer flashes of varying intensity between the two very bright ones on the outer edges of the cluster. Around one I could discern a faint cluster of very dim lights in the shape of a kite with a small tail. I knew I was seeing something extraordinary and continued to watch for about 15 minutes trying to exact the timing of the flashes but there was none that I could note nor could I see a pattern of the layout of the lights.

It was as though they were signaling to each other but there was no rhythm to the signals and as I watched the flashes came quicker and quicker and then started to fade out one by one until they were all gone. Did I see UFOs?
