It is obvious that it was taken through the windshield of the vehicle, however, we can rule out a glare on the windshield because the object was seen by the witness previously. The witness pulled off the highway and stopped to take the photograph. There have been a few objects very similar to this one caught on camera before. To this point, there has been no satisfactory explanation as to what they are.
