We as a group had just finished attending a conference in Atlanta and departed Altanta possibly around 3:00pm or a little later. We were going straight up I-75 out of Atlanta when scanning the horizon I saw the same ovoid or dull gray/white spheroid through the front windshield. I know we had passed Resaca EXit, perhaps a half hour earlier. I do not own a camera and even if I did the shot would have been wobbly and jiggly since we were traveling at the rate of 70mph and the darting and weaving traffic wasn't good for taking photos anyway.

For a period of perhaps 30 seconds or a minute I observed this very slow discernible orb moving across the sky at a fairly hight atltitude traveling from East to West on a straight line. What caught my eye was how slow it moved. I have seen this type of object before in Houston, TX sometime in 1992 or 1993, so I have seen this type of craft or object before. If it was a weather balloon it was moving in a straight trajectory and there was no sound connected with the object.

This was a 7 passenger van and I was reluctant to point this out to the others because in the past I have met with some very strange reactions around people who see them with me! The object just vanished. I looked away for a second to get a reference point or something to compare it too and when I shifted my gaze back it was gone. I looked at the clouds to see if it had gone into the clouds but was unable to determine why it vanished. Tell the person who took the photograph and videos they are not alone in seeing this thing, whatever it was.

I wonder if their date might be confused with the 17th, because the time is pretty close to when I saw it. Thanks and hope this made some sense to you!
