Hi B J: I witnessed this spherical object on July 3, 2007, in San Diego, CA. The series of four pictures was taken over a period of about 2 minutes. The bright white area to the right is the moon, and the reddish spherical object moved from right to left. It was not visible to the naked eye, and there were no aircraft or helicopters. In other words, this object was not visible until I viewed the pictures. I took several other pictures within a few minutes, however these four were the only ones that had the object in them.
On this evening, we had a pretty clear night and I could see the stars, but none showed up on my pictures. No clouds either and instead just a hint of haze but not much. The air has been pretty dry here lately in San Diego. I've read that Venus can only be seen near sunrise/sunset, and my pictures were taken towards the East, late at night between 10/11pm.
All of the pictures were taken with a Sony Cybershot 6.0 megapixel DSC-W30 camera.
Thanks,

UFO Sighting with Photograph-San Diego, CA-07-10-07

Hi there B J: The date was July 10, 2007 and I live in San Diego, California. I didn't see the object in the sky until I inspected the picture. I've just been snapping pictures at the sky like a madwoman and have taken hundreds in the past week or two, but aside from the sphere pictures I posted several days ago in the forum, this is the most unusual one.
There were no aircraft in the sky, and I've gotten birds before however this is not a bird.I am rather new to the whole UFO thing and just happened to see the drone pictures in May, and have been captivated since. I've even gotten my husband and a few others interested.
Anyway, I've been hooked ever since. I read in several places that many of the "UFOs" in pictures were not seen until after the picture was taken, so I started snapping away at nothing - hoping to get lucky.
My pictures were taken with a Sony Cybershot 6.0 megapixel DSC-W30 camera.
Thanks,
