and then... 'another' set of photos were submitted, 'supposedly' by a different person, supposedly on a different day, supposedly by a different camera. The uproar now was at a fever pitch. NOW there were TWO sets of picture to compare and analyze. The "believers" were convinced the object was alien in nature, the nay-sayers were crying 'foul', 'fraud' and 'hoax'. The rumors began to fly that this 'object' was a part of some promotion. I admit, I allowed my emotions to get the better of me, and perhaps I spoke too soon when I wrote my first letter to Coast to Coast...(see below) If this was indeed another fraud or hoax, I was incensed. I speak out for the thousands of us whose lives were turned inside out and upside down the moment we told ANYONE that we had been abducted, or had seen a UFO.

Every UFO 'fraud' or 'hoax' sets the UFO community back by decades, and gives the outside world more reason to laugh at us and scoff at our beliefs. I, like you, want only to know 'the truth', the ACTUAL 'truth', regardless of where that path may take us. I am not the enemy, nor am I the bad guy screaming 'hoax'... as for this 'so-called' reward being offered by this "R. Slater at xxx," all of my sources at MUFON say they have never heard of him... I received his e-mail just as you did, and sent it on to others to examine. Perhaps, when all the dust clears, he will be another fraud as well... or even an 'agent of disinformation' simply to keep us from the truth.

Now, let's look at what we have, and what we know so far. Let us all assume, for the sake of agreement, that the "Chad" photographs are real... my concern as well as yours, should be NOT with the authenticity of the photos, but the "object" in the photos.

1. Is it alien? Sadly, I do not believe it is. It is NOT the Holy Grail so many of us seek, the final proof we need to show the world we are not crazy, and will validate our lives.

2. Is it some 'fact-finding', 'information gathering' drone, observing terrain, weather, etc? This is, indeed a viable explanation, especially when compared with the observations from Sequoia and the similar appearances.

3. However, could this be of a more ominous "Military" configuration, gathering much more that just weather information? (Something Linda Howe may refer to as a "Black Ops" operation.) NOW we have an even MORE viable explanation.

4. Could the 'object' merely be some man made hoax sent up and photographed for whatever reason? We must, in all honesty, be prepared to accept this as well. We have now all seen the 6 second video on YouTube of the computer generated object that looks exactly like the one in "Chad's" photos:

All this proves is that it is possible to create a false image. So, dear friends, wherein lies the 'truth'? What 'exactly' is the "object" in the pictures? To that end, we are all as one mind, and in agreement... we WANT to know the truth. Will we find it?

If it is indeed a "Military Black Op", we probably will not get the truth. I hope whatever any of us is able to find out, we will gladly share. As one in mind with you,

Whether you choose to print this or not, I have to say this. Since, as we have just recently learned that the "Strange UFO" pictures sent in by "Chad" and then "Ranjin" are clips from a viral promotional film, I have to say how upset I am over all of this. Countless upon countless hours have been wasted at length discussing these pictures, debating them, analyzing them...even an in-depth interview with the respected Linda Moulton Howe... while "Chad" and his friends may have had a good laugh at our expense, not only do we have to look at all the time, effort and money that was wasted because of this fraud, but this is exactly what makes our entire UFO Community look bad.
