Recently Hong Kong has experienced large thunderstorms. According to Radio Television Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Observatory recieved many calls from people just within the first hour after midnight on Thursday claiming people have seen UFOs during the fierce storm near Tai Lam Tunnel, Wanchai and Happy Valley districts of the City.

The Hong Kong Observatory recorded 13,102 lighting strikes around Hong Kong.

The Obervatory said, it is not first time UFOs have been reported or even photographed during intense storms. UFO reports were most likely to be ‘misidentified street lamps’.

The Hong Kong Observatory said that “In the past, during thunderstorms some people have spotted UFOs or even photographed a UFO. Most of the people mistakenly take the street lights to be a UFO.”

Meanwhile, the chair-woman of Hong Kong UFO Club Ms. Moon Fong, also have confirmed the UFO sightings and said that people were reporting them on their website.
