Selmer, Tennessee - 09-14-13

My wife, I and our two children were leaving Selmer going west on 64 Highway approaching Sulphur Springs RD.

My wife called my attention to the object, which was shiny metallic in color, but not reflective as it was sunny and clear.

The object was cigar-shaped and it was stationary in a west-southwest direction referenced from 64 Highway, at an elevation of maybe 75-80 degrees off of the horizon.

We all observed it for maybe 30 seconds. When we thought it had vanished, I then observed it in a north-northwest position from the highway same approx. elevation.

About 2 seconds later we pulled over and watched it; it remained stationary. After about another minute and a half 2 bright lights ejected from each end of it, the lights traveled in a spiral in opposite directions from each other and then disappeared.

We continued to watch the object for approx. another minute; then it vanished and we left.
