Mexican Pilot

led by the UFOs...

In 1975 in Zihuatanejo, Pilot Carlos de los Santos drops off passengers and begins a return trip to Mexico City.

He is flying a Piper PA24 Comanche, cruising at 10,000 ft on a clear day.

One hour into his flight, he saw something frightening, a wingless gray object. This object is seen off to his left, but then he sees another one on his right.

Then he sees one coming right at him from the front. This 3rd object goes under his plane, bumping the bottom.

Now frightened to death, he sees that he is not in control of his plane anymore, but is being led by the UFOs.

The UFOs are slowly taking him up, which could be a real problem since his cabin is not pressurized.

He makes a Mayday call to ATC, explaining what is happening to him and his plane.

Finally as the UFOs and plane approach a mountain, the UFOs disengage, flying off at great speed toward a volcano.

Although the UFO are gone now, Carlos does not have the ability to land his plane, probably because of some damage by the UFO that struck his plane on the bottom.

After circling the airport a number of times, he uses a screw driver to force his landing gear down. He successfully lands the plane.

He finds out that ATC in Mexico City had tracked the 3 UFOs. His story makes big headlines in Mexico.

Years later, the pilot revealed that he was approached twice by the enigmatic Men in Black.

The first visit was just before he was to be interviewed by the media, and the second was right before he was to meet with Dr. J Allen Hynek.

He was warned not to discuss his encounter. This he did for a time, but eventually he would speak about his encounter.
