perfect symmetry...
Picture the quiet hum of machinery inside a
control room, screens glowing with footage
from the space shuttle far above Earth.
Nothing seems unusual until two faint
objects drift across the black expanse,
gliding near the shuttle's edge.
They move in slow, perfect symmetry,
untouched by gravity.
You guys getting the image? Copy that.
Seven, I-7, are you inside your range?
Lots and clear. Seven, go ahead. I'll
tell you at 10 o'clock high.
This is Houston. Say again, Seven?
Technicians once called them reflections,
particles of debris caught in orbit.
Yet no known fragment behaves quite so
deliberately.
The orbs shift apart, maintaining their
path as the camera continues its silent
record.
