puzzling aerial anomalies...
The Pentagon has released a fifth batch of UFO files that includes multiple videos of puzzling aerial anomalies, along with several compelling documents and images concerning events from decades ago and curious contemporary cases.
Posted Friday morning on the government's new dedicated UAP transparency website, the tranche of materials follows the release of 158 records on May 8th, 64 records on May 22nd, and 53 records on June 2nd, and 40 records on July 10th. The latest batch features 41 records containing 16 videos, 17 documents, and 8 images.
Alas, the videos found in the latest tranche of files will likely be considered underwhelming compared to some of the more fantastic footage previously released this summer. There are six clips, recorded with a service member's cell phone, showing the "infrared sensor display aboard a U.S. Special Operations Forces AC-130J Gunship" operating in the Gulf of Oman in 2021.
The videos show a peculiar dot erratically moving around in the sky. Another five clips, captured in the same fashion, feature indecipherable objects detected by infrared sensors on a military platform in the Pacific Ocean in 2019. Additional footage from Friday's release includes multiple instances of UFOs observed in the Middle East in 2023 and 2025 as well as a 2026 sighting from the Western United States.
