Boomerang Objects Seen over Florida and Georgia on Same Night
ഀ Published: 7:40 AM 3/26/2011

ഀ ഀ Georgia - 03-25-11

ഀ ഀ I am a 43 yr. old college Professor in Savannah. My six-year-old son and I had been playing in the park today. We were riding push-scooters, playing Frisbee, and enjoying the lovely afternoon/evening for about an hour and a half.

We walked a friend to her apartment adjacent to Forsyth Park. We then headed across the park toward our truck to go home.

ഀ ഀ I was the first to see and point out a boomerang formation of 7-11 star-like lights.

They became clearer as they went almost overhead. The flight path when the object(s) were most overhead were at 1 o'clock West (angle relative to us). We were both baffled.

ഀ ഀ The light formation was heading directly north (I google mapped when I got home to get a clearer sense of the direction they are going relative to the park which is exactly rectangular). Exactly north!

ഀ ഀ The formation of lights on the boomerang were not exact, but almost (in terms of exact distances from one light to the next spread through the boomerang formation... they were a little irregular.

However, they were clearly in a boomerang-type formation. We observed this formation fly in a very straight, smooth direction due North. The observation of this lasted, I would guess, 12-15 seconds, until the boomerang formation became obscured by the atmospheric cloudiness and trees.

ഀ ഀ The part of the park we were observing from allowed us to see a lot of clear sky without interruption (an open and large grass field).

Our view of the boomerang formation was (using clock hands as description of angle relative to us) was from 10 to 2 o'clock. We had a wide field of vision from our vantage point.

ഀ ഀ It was almost completely dark outside. The sky above us was pretty clear and one could see stars clearly.

From a distance, the atmospheric haze (toward the horizons) made the boomerang formation of lights dissipate as the lights entered from and then vanished toward the horizon.

ഀ ഀ There was no noise of airplanes or helicopters.

ഀ ഀ Then we saw the same thing happen again about half a minute later! Same formation, same approximate size, same direction, same rate of speed.

I couldn't tell distance clearly, and I could not tell if solids connected the lights or if the lights were independent.

Within the formation they seemed fixed.

My guess is that the boomerang formations were at least half a mile to two miles above us. If I extend my arm and hold my thumb out, I would say the formation would be about 1/2 to 2/3 of my thumb.

ഀ ഀ Less than a minute later we saw a third boomerang formation!

ഀ ഀ Then we saw a fourth and fifth one flying together side by side about a minute later. Same flight path... same everything!

ഀ ഀ ഀ Then we saw a sixth boomerang formation... same everything!

I couldn't believe how many we got to see. Different than if we just saw one.

ഀ ഀ I think we saw a total of 7 boomerang formations over a five minute period. My son says we saw eight. I lost count. Only once during that time did we see more than one at a time. The time between one sighting to the next varied from 10 seconds to less than two minutes. The time we did see more than one at a time they seemed to almost touch (wing to wing).

ഀ ഀ ഀ Florida - 03-25-11

ഀ ഀ My girlfriend and I decided to go to the beach for a late night walk.

So we parked by Ron Jon Surf Shop and started walking towards the pier. As we got to the pier, we sat down and talked for a while.

When we started walking back we continued talking and looking at the stars, when she suddenly said "Do you see that?!"

As I looked at where she pointed, I saw a HUGE boomerang-shaped object.

At first I thought it was a spotlight because of its faint color, but as we continued to look, it appeared to be a faint white color with a main large bright light in the middle surrounded with more smaller, dimmer lights.

It moved at a fast rate of speed - faster than a plane, but it appeared to be "cruising" as it moved towards Cape Canaveral when it suddenly disappeared.

My girlfriend and I saw the same thing and just stood there in shock.

I was kind of freaked out but amazed, and I’ve had goose bumps since the sightings. Someone please let me know if you saw the same thing on 03/25-26/2011.

UFO Incident Over Okinawa, Japan - '86 or '87
ഀ Published: 1:13 PM 3/22/2011

ഀ ഀ One night in late 1986 or early 1987 in Okinawa, Japan, I had a UFO in my backyard. I lived in a small house, off base, which sat at the left corner at the end of a cul-de-sac.

The house had a back yard the size of a small volleyball court, enclosed by a 4’ high brick wall with a small side gate.

Behind the house was a large park with a sloping hillside leading down to the ocean.

My bedroom had a window that faced the street of the cul-de-sac and my daughter had the bedroom that looked out on the backyard.

Her room had a large window that was long and set low, with the bottom ledge being about 2½’ above the floor. The window was dressed with a thin, stick bamboo shade that let light through and provided some visibility to the outside, but did not cover the bottom of the window, providing full visibility to a two-year-old.

ഀ ഀ My daughter woke me up complaining of bright light in bedroom. It took me a few minutes to wake out of a deep sleep.

My daughter was frightened and persistent, so I walked with her down the short hall to her room to see what she was afraid of.

As I entered her room, I could see a very bright, white light coming through the window and filling the room. At first I thought that it was a large spotlight.

We crept to the window, and on my knees with my daughter standing next to me, we peered outside.

ഀ ഀ I saw a saucer-shaped object with a tall top, not sitting on the ground but was floating above the ground at least two feet.

The craft filled up most of the backyard. There were large lights in a single row along the widest edge of the craft giving off pastel colors of pink, blue, and yellow.

The whole craft was enveloped with fog, but I could still see a few stars in the sky behind it.

As we were peering out the window the fog became thicker and the light brighter, however the bright light was not coming from the colored lights but seemed to be coming from the fog itself.

As the light shone brighter through the glass, it reminded me of sun shining through a window, catching all the tiny dust particles in its light.

But, then I realized the particles were actually not dust particles, but the fog.

The fog was rolling through the window, which was a solid pane of glass, and spilling on to the floor.

At that moment, as I watched the floor filling with fog, spilling on us, I was afraid.

I grabbed my daughter and we hid behind her rocking chair against all my common sense and instinct. I still remember thinking that we really weren’t hidden at all, as we were only across the room from the window and in full view of it.

I thought that it was a dumb hiding place, but it seemed like we were frozen in awe and fear of what was happening and had to witness it.

ഀ ഀ The next morning I woke up in my own bed, and my daughter in hers. I did not know what happened after we hid, how I got to bed, or how my daughter got in her bed.

To this day I still don’t have any knowledge of what happened. As frightened as we were, I would have taken her to bed with me and would not have left her in her room to sleep.

Two weeks after the incident, my daughter pointed out a white scar in the shape of a half moon, on her ankle.

She had not had any prior injuries to cause the scar, and I did not have an explanation for the mark. Eventually the scar faded.

ഀ ഀ The scariest part of the whole incident was the fog because it was so invasive and that I cannot explain what events happened after we “hid.”

Lied to Again - What We Were Not Told - The Blackout of 1965
UFO Graphic
ഀ Published: 2:59 AM 3/18/2011

ഀ ഀ written by Chris Holly

ഀ ഀ I continue to receive emails from across the country concerning sightings of UFOs, orbs of light and fire balls being seen during the East Coast Blackout of 1965.

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ It is obvious at this point that something went on during that day in November far past an unexplained massive blackout. It is also obvious that what actually went on that day was easily swept under the carpet and kept from the public.

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ Many people did try to report strange sightings and events during that time, however, were met with total disregard, even annoyance and were easily silenced.

The entire event is another example of how simple it is to steer society into believing what they are told to believe, as well as how easy it is to silence those who question what is going on around them.

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ I have received enough reports to know what I witnessed that day was also seen by many others. It became apparent to me through my emails that many who read my account thought I was writing about a comet or something of that nature streaking across the sky.

Please understand I never intended to give that impression. What I saw was something out of control that was on fire crashing through the night sky at incredible speed.

I do not think it crashed on earth as the size of the object would have made it impossible to cover up. The object may have made it to the ocean.

I also know stranger things than that happen all the time that we are not privy to.

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ I imagine a possibility of what happened to this enormous object could be many outcomes including it regained control, burned up completely, or made it out of our atmosphere and continued out into space. I have no idea. All I do know is that I saw it slam across the sky. It was huge, and it was on fire.

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ For years I have been sent reports from people seeing strange crafts around electric wires. I am aware as I'm sure you are that many blackouts are associated with UFOs. I wrote an article a while ago about a feeding UFO spotted over a hub of electric towers, cell phone towers and a radio tower by a group of men here on Long Island, New York.

The men were walking along a wooded area and came across an isolated area where this group of towers stood. Above this group of towers (which is a major part of Long Islands grid), hovered a very large black craft with a ray of some kind connected into the tower group.

A mini blackout was occurring at the time in the local area. The men were terrified and retreated quickly away from the area. The object did not seem to detect them and they were able to return to a main area.

Shortly after their sighting a large blinking of the electric lights in the populated nearby area took place restoring the electric to the area ending the mini blackout.

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ I have read similar accounts of things like this happening all over the world. In the past few years I have been told by three different people that they had strange incidents happen while out at night in their own neighborhoods.

The areas were all different. The people were all different, what they were doing at the time was different, however, what they witnessed was the same.

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ Whether they were standing outside smoking, putting out the trash, or walking their dogs, the people all noticed a very dark, large oval object that at first appeared to be a shadow moving slowing down the street over the tree line.

When they investigated a bit closer they realized it was a solid dark object slowly hovering along the streets electric lines.

All the people who described this same encounter had nearly identical descriptions of what they saw and what the object was doing.

Each one of them also told me independently that once they got a good clear look at the thing they became terrified and quickly retreated to the safety of their homes.

ഀ When the people called the local authorities to enquire if anyone else had called in seeing this object they were brushed off and treated as our society has been trained to react to those who are brave enough to report these events.

ഀ ഀ I spoke to many educated people who have strong science backgrounds about these sighting. We had long discussions on what is likely going on with these crafts seen over our connections to our energy and communication grids.

The idea that the crafts are attaching to our wires of electric or communication to upload or take energy was ruled out at once. Any craft able to do the feats that we witness surely are far advanced and have no use for our primitive energy.

ഀ ഀ The fact is the majority of those I spoke to feel the crafts are downloading into our grids. Of course they may upload all we transmit by way of our electric, transmitting and wireless technology.

The people with science backgrounds that I discussed this with feel it far more likely they are downloading what they want to invade and pass into our homes, our communication and entertainment devices.

Any life form as advanced as those who have conquered space, time, and universal or dimensional travel are certainly able to control and saturate us with whatever they wish via our antique systems.

ഀ ഀ ഀ I think the likelihood of this is very high. I think the likelihood this has been going on for many years is also very high.

I think mistakes happen even with advanced aliens. I believe it very likely that the massive blackout of 1965 and the sightings including the fire ball I saw may have been part of a huge mistake or accident by those who visit us.

I think many unexplained blackouts can be explained the exact same way. Of course this is my opinion, however, I do believe it is one with legs, arms, and a very alien soul!

ഀ I received a very interesting email from a reader who wanted to add his thinking to this subject.

ഀ ഀ Please see what he had to say about it all. His email to me is below:

ഀ ഀ ഀ Hi, Chris,

ഀ I've got a few things relating to a fireball seen during theഀ blackout of 1965 that might interest you.

ഀ Although coverage of a fireball apparently didn't appear in the New York Times or Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune did run an article on July 30, 1968, entitled "Hint UFOs Might Be Cause of Blackouts."

ഀ It quotes Dr. James E. McDonald--a prominent atmospheric scientist and UFO researcher of the time--during testimony before Congress on the 29th that there were reports in upstate New York of a glowing object at the instant the lights went out.

McDonald noted that hundreds of UFO sightings were reported to the Federal Power Commission during the blackout.

At the time McDonald and several other scientists--including Drs. J. Allen Hynek and Carl Sagan--were addressing Congress on the subject of UFOs.

ഀ ഀ McDonald had a huge interest in UFO sightings that affected the power systems of cars, buildings, or electrical networks because of the physical evidence that might be left behind, as well as any insights into the modus operandi of the phenomenon he might tease out.

ഀ To this extent, he tape-recorded dozens of people about their UFO sightings and many of these recordings still exist.

Pertaining to the New York blackout, he interviewed Robert C. Walsh, Deputy Commissioner for Aviation, Syracuse, NY (interview was on 4 August 1968) also a Mr. Weldon Ross and a Mr.Case.

He interviewed this group of men all concerning UFO fireball sightings they'd had on 9 November 1965. There may have been other recordings in this vein, however, they most likely no longer exist as McDonald died in 1971.

ഀ ഀ I believe the book "INCIDENT AT EXETER" by John G. Fuller also has a section on UFO sightings during the blackout, but youഀ probably already know this.

ഀ ഀ If I can be of further assistance along these lines, pleaseഀ let me know.

ഀ ഀ My best to you, Chris!

ഀ ഀ ( name withheld for privacy)

ഀ ഀ ഀ I think you will find this email as interesting as I did. It is really silly at this point not to realize that the major event that occurred over the East Coast of the United States in 1965 was not as simple as we were trained to believe.

I think we are lucky it did not cause us more harm than a few hours of blackness. I also think it is becoming obvious we need to start to think about who and what may be downloading or uploading who knows what into the grids that we are all hooked into each and every day of our lives.

I am beginning to think our thinking is not our own. I seem to believe this more and more as I purposely watch less television, turn off my computer and rarely ever switch on my cell phone.

I do not want to be part of something I am not sure of. Being attached to anything for hours at a time that can be interfered with in many ways by many others is not my idea of a good time.

ഀ ഀ ഀ I can only bring you that which is told to me and hope you all with give these things some thought the next time you spend hours talking on, texting on, sitting in front of or holding something that may be downloading right into your brain!

ഀ ഀ ഀ The next time we suffer blackouts for no apparent reason let’s become less gullible and more interested in what is really going on around and above us.

The days of living in darkness can only end if we decide to see the light of truth for ourselves.

ഀ ഀ ഀ Be careful out there, and please pay attention to what is going on right in front of your own eyes.

March 17, 1966: Ringwood Nun Spots UFO
ഀ Published: Sunday, March 13, 2011

ഀ "Another UFO was reported in the area last week, and as a [Suburban Trends] reporter pointed out, it would have been difficult to find a more veracious observer," reads an editorial from March 17, 1966.

ഀ ഀ "Mother Superior Veronica, Mount St. Francis Convent, Ringwood, reported seeing an object streak across the sky early last Thursday morning. It was ‘like a flying kite on fire,’ she said.

ഀ ഀ "The object, reminiscent of Elijah’s flaming chariot (though the mother superior did not point this out), left ‘a red glow in its wake,’" the editorial said.

"Mother Veronica said she later saw another, dimmer light over the cemetery, and another nun reported that same morning she saw a bright light over the Wanaque Reservoir, site of other recent ‘sightings.’"

ഀ ഀ In light of the rash of UFO sightings, we said that maybe someone was trying to tell us something.

ഀ ഀ "On the other hand, such activities did not seem to us all that unusual, what with St. Patrick’s Day upon us…"

ഀ ഀ The editorial then related a small Irish tale: "‘tell me,’ said a young man to an Irish crone many years ago. ‘Do you believe in wee people?’

ഀ ഀ "‘Glory be to God no,’ answered the old woman. Then, in a confidential whisper, ‘But they’re there.’"

ഀ Ohio - 09-02-08

ഀ ഀ My friend and I were leaving the Mounds Cemetery in Marietta, Ohio, around 7:30 PM on the evening of 9/2/2008.

While walking out, I happened to look up and noticed this very long cigar/cylinder-shaped metallic object moving fairly quickly through the sky.

It moved silently and left no exhaust. Completely SILENT!

At first I thought it might be a commercial airliner, however, it had no wings like a plane. I did not notice any windows.

As it streaked across the sky we followed it on foot, then by car, and tried to get a good picture. However, it was moving too fast and we lost it in the trees.

It moved in a straight line across the cloudless sky, and it being very sunny that day it was very noticeable with the sun beaming off of it.

It was very shiny silver and metallic. I did happen to catch it two times with my camera, and I will attach the pictures.(one shown below).

They are unaltered- still original size. Again this thing moved fairly quick, was VERY long and made absolutely NO sound. Left no exhaust as well.

My feelings were of intrigue. I could not imagine what this possibly could be. Maybe government/military? I still don't know how it could fly at the same altitude or a little lower than a commercial plane but it made NO sound, left NO exhaust, and had NO WINGS!

We lost sight of it behind the trees. We rushed to the car and tried to track it down, but couldn't catch up through town and lost it. It was heading in a southeast direction from Marietta, Ohio.

Archived Case of the Week

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ
1981, The Beginning of Contact, the Carlos Diaz Story ഀ
Carlos Diaz
ഀ One morning in January 1981, Mexican photographer Carlos Diaz pulled into a deserted car park at Ajusco Park near Mexico City. He was on an assignment for a magazine, and had arranged to meet a journalist who was yet to arrive. Diaz sat in his car, preparing his camera for the job ahead. Although it was early in the morning, the air was thick with humidity which made even sitting still uncomfortable.

Impatiently, Diaz began to look at his watch. Suddenly, his attention was caught by a strange yellow glow coming from the valley below him. At first he thought it was a forest fire, but, an instant later, the source of light revealed itself to be a large, orange, oval-shaped UFO, slowly hovering about 30 metres from his car.

ഀ ഀ Unable to believe his eyes, Diaz quickly grabbed his camera. With it resting on his steering wheel, he began frantically firing off shots. Then, without warning, the whole car began to shake violently. Diaz got out of the vehicle and took two more photographs before the craft sped up vertically into the sky, leaving Diaz in a state of shock.

This encounter marked the beginning of what was to develop into one of he most fascinating and long-running contactee cases in the history of UFOlogy. Today, the case remains among a small minority of alledged extraterrestrial encounters to be supported by verified film documentation that has stood up to the scrutiny of a range of experts.

ഀ Indeed, the apparent credibility of Diaz's claims has attracted the attention of some of the world's top UFO researchers, including German author Michael Hesemann and abduction researcher Dr John Mack. Both concluded that Diaz's story is completely credible. Hesemann echoes the views of most researchers when he states: 'The Carlos Diaz case is the most important case of documented alien-human contact to have emerged in modern times.' Certainly, at the time of his initial encounter, Diaz little suspected what was to come. The transition from a run-of-the-mill UFO sighting in an area now acknowledged as a UFO hot-spot, to one of the key cases of recent years did not occur until weeks later.

In the days that followed this January sighting, Diaz remained preoccupied by his experience. Unable to forget what he had seen, he repeatedly returned to the Ajusco Park location, hoping to secure more pictures. After a succession of fruitless visits, Diaz began to think that he was wasting his time. But then, on 23rd of March, his patience was rewarded.

ഀ While roaming the greenery, Diaz was again alerted to the presence of a UFO by an orange glow, which he could see only dimly through the fog and rain that had saturated the forest in Ajusco Park. As he climbed up the walls of the valley, he managed to position himself within 45 metres of the object. Diaz watched the 'craft' hovering above him, eminating a bright orange light. It was, he said, dome-shaped with a smooth ring in its centre.

This, claimed Diaz, was covered with a number of half spheres, each around one metre in diameter. Crouching behind some rocks, Diaz thought his actions had gone unnoticed, but, as he continued to watch the craft, he felt someone grab his shoulder from behind. Diaz immediately fainted, and, when he awoke, it was dark and the UFO was gone. He was shocked to discover that, despite heavy rain, his clothes were completely dry. At that point, he knew something strange had happened to him.

ഀ ഀ When he returned to his car, Diaz noticed another car parked in front of him. At this point, Diaz claimed, a humanoid entity with fair hair approached him and told him that if he wanted to know more about what he had just experienced, he should return to the same spot at noon the following day. Apparently, when Diaz returned the next day, he discovered the same entity sitting on the grass. Diaz claimed that the being then turned to him and explained that it was he who grabbed his shoulder the previous day.

Before leaving, the being also told Diaz that he had come from inside the craft and that Diaz would gradually recover his memory of what had happened while he was unconscious. Sure enough, over the next few months, Diaz's memory returned, piece by piece.

ഀ According to his account, he recalled the craft hovered directly over his head. As he attempted to touch the craft, his hand seemed to pass through the yellow light and he seemed to merge with it.

The next thing he recalled was seeing the craft parked on a platform inside a giant cave. Diaz was filled with awe when he remembered what he had seen inside:

'It was full of stalagmites, some of which were carved into what appeared to be Mayan sculptures,' he stated. 'I saw many people in the cave, some of whom waved to me and, in a state of shock, I waved back.'

Apparently the being Diaz had encountered in the park then led him to a smaller cave which contained seven glowing, egg-shaped orbs, one of which Diaz was invited to step into. On entering, Diaz could at first only see yellow light.

ഀ ഀ But then he found himself surrounded by the image of a forest.

'I could see all the details of the forest as if I was walking through it,' said Diaz. 'I couldn't touch anything, but I could feel the temperature and moisture. I could see and experience everything, yet I wasn't physically there.'

His guide then told him that the orbs were also a system for storing information and that certain data had been imparted to him. Diaz was then returned to the ship and, in time, to the park.ഀ

ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ
UFO by Carlos DiazUFO by Carlos DiazUFO by Carlos Diaz

ഀ ഀ

ഀ According to Diaz, this was only the first of a series of contacts with the same beings, which continue to this day. Since 1981, Diaz has stated that his experience inside the orbs has enabled him to 'travel' to different regions of the Earth's ecosystem - forest, desert, jungle, shoreline, even Arctic areas - with his ET contact. Through this contact, Diaz claims to have been imbued with an awareness of the interconnectedness of all life and the need to preserve our environment.

To many UFOlogists, especially those who have had their 'fingers burnt' by alledged contactees before, these claims may appear far-fetched. However, Diaz is seen by many researchers as a highly reliable source, not least because of the strong body of photographic evidence he has amassed to support his claims.

ഀ Mexican TV journalist and UFOlogist Jaime Maussan, who has been at the centre of UFO investigations in Mexico since the wave began in 1991, believes that Diaz's UFO photographs are among the most impressive he has seen. Maussan took Diaz's photographs to Jim Dilettoso, an image processing expert at Village Labs, in Tucson, Arizona, who concluded they were genuine.

After satisfying himself he was not dealing with a hoaxer, Maussan visited Diaz at his hime in Tepoztlan, Mexico.

There, he spoke to a number of other witnesses who claimed to have seen exactly the same type of UFO. The apparent credibility of the Diaz case has also attracted UFO researchers from further afield, who have attempted to glean insights into the alien agenda from Diaz's contactee claims. German author Michael Hesemann, who first interviewed Diaz in June 1994, is convinced of the credibility of Diaz's story.

'Not only is he contacting these beings through encounters on the ships,' says Hesemann, 'but he claims to be meeting these beings socially, since he believes some of them are living among us.'

However Hesemann explains that, according to Diaz, the beings are reluctant to fully disclose their origins. ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ ഀ

'Apparently,' says Hesemann, 'they did, however, explain that they have been visiting Earth for thousands of years, and are particularly interested in our evolution which, compared to their own, has happened at a much faster rate. They are trying to learn why.'

ഀ Another UFO researcher intrigued by Diaz's case is Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, John Mack. Mack has a long history of dealing with abductees and contactees and believes that the Diaz case is among the most convincing he has come across. In his book Passport to the Cosmos, he states: 'Out of all the experiencers I have worked with, it is Carlos Diaz who seems to have developed the richest understanding of the interconnected web of nature. Diaz's experience of connecting with living creatures is so intense that he seems literally to become the thing he is describing.'

Diaz's experience, Mack claims constitutes an 'awakening', a process which, he says, is common in abductees. Diaz told Mack that his contact with the ETs had instilled in him a need to preserve the environment and the ability to 'enjoy a beautiful planet'. Whether or not an extraterrestrial influence was involved, Diaz's new-found concern for the environment has certainly become a driving force in his life.

He has repeatedly and passionately conveyed this environmental warning publicly, most notably at a UFO conference in Dusseldorf, Germany in 1995. Diaz has revealed that he had been informed through his contacts that the civilization of the visiting extraterrestrial, like ours, had been threatened by its own history of destruction, but had somehow managed to survive. He remains convinced that his contacts' disturbing prediction for our future is only too real - a prediction that states with near certainty that humanity, on its current course, is headed for total extinction.

ഀ This outspokenness, coupled with the public nature of his experience, has le Diaz to assume visionary status in both his home town of Tepoztlan and UFO circles. however, Diaz has been quick to dispute this, claiming that he is not a unique visionary, but merely 'a messenger'. The real nature of Diaz's current incarnation aside, for many UFOlogists, the Diaz case remains among the most convincing on record. Indeed, few UFO reports exist that boast such impressive and abundant photographic evidence. And fewer still have emerged that have stood up to the scrutiny applied to Diaz's images.

ഀ Expert analysis of Carlos Diaz's UFO pictures has been extremely thorough. Mexican UFOlogist Jaime Maussan gave the original transparencies to Professor Victor Quesada at the Polytechnical Institute of the University of Mexico for examination.

Quesada stated: 'We were shocked to discover that the spectrum of light from the object was unlike anything we have ever seen, it broke all previous parameters and didn't match anything in our data banks. The light was extraordinarily intense. There was no evidence of superimposition or a hoax. We estimated the object to be around 30 to 50 metres in diameter.'

ഀ ഀ Interestingly, the photographs were also analysed by Dr Robert Nathan at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. Nathan, a notorious UFO sceptic, stated that he could find no evidence of a fake. ഀ

ഀ Certainly, for many who have examined the three images, the first shot is the most impressive. In it, the orange glowing craft can be seen through the windshield of the car, and light from the object is reflected both off the car's bonnet and off the metal guard rail by ഀ the side of the road. These, in particular, are details that experts claim are extremely difficult to fake.

ഀ Mexican UFOlogist Jaime maussan was so intrigued by Carlos Diaz's account of his experiences that he provided him with a video camera and asked him to see if he could record the UFO on tape when it next appeared. A few weeks later, Diaz awoke at 5 a.m. and grabbed his camera. he walked out and waited.

Apparently, within minutes, the craft appeared and hovered over the house, where Diaz filmed it. When Maussan saw the remarkable footage, he asked Diaz if he could get even closer to the craft while filming. Two months later, Diaz was once again able to film the craft, which this time hovered directly above him, without moving.

ഀ ഀ However it is Diaz's third attempt to capture the craft on video that is the most spectacular. In this footage, Diaz having mounted his camera on a tripod, walks to the bottom of a field waving a flash light. Responding to this, the craft suddenly materializes directly above Diaz's head and sends beams of light down towards him. Then, the unidentified object remains motionless for 30 seconds, before blinking out. It is universally recognized that this video contains some of the best UFO footage ever taken.
