Two Friends Alien Abduction after Car Accident
UFO Depiction
Published: 6:09 AM 7/30/2013

New Iberia, Louisiana - 03-24-88

The Incident occurred at midnight or shortly thereafter. I was driving with a friend who was my passenger. We were going home after visiting friends, and were heading SE on Bull Island Road.

We had traveled only a mile or less, when my car left the road and flipped over.

I was pinned beneath the wheel, with my hand between the wheel and the dash, with three broken ribs and a broken collar bone which I found out at the hospital later.

My friend Michelle, can’t remember her last name, suffered a broken nose.

I am not including her as a witness, since she was unconscious and had no knowledge of the encounter. Sometime between 2 and 3 hours after the wreck, two passersby came and kicked out the window on my side and got me out.

They also pulled Michelle out of the right side. They then called an ambulance, which took us to the hospital.

It was events that occurred during the interval from the wreck until our rescue that I recalled later. I was somehow taken from my car and into a UFO, and then later placed back into the front seat of my car. My hand had been pinned between the steering wheel and the dash. I had on my mother’s ring, with a child's birthstone in it.

A six foot tall alien man came and got me out of the car; got me aboard his craft by what mechanism I don't know and cut the ring off my hand. I never got it back.

Description of alien: Between 5'10 and 6 feet tall, well-shaped, with shoulder length golden brown hair.

It wore a white outfit, with formal Japanese-looking top small collar with long sleeves. I don't know if the bottom of the outfit was tight or loose fitting.

I have the strong impression that the craft which I never saw from the outside was on the ground right beside my car. Events on board were I underwent surgeries which I don't remember, that removed some muscle tissue from my right upper arm, from shoulder to beginning of forearm.

The cut was only two inches, which healed without stitches, and left a very light scar.

On the inside of the arm, other tissue samples were taken. The marks resulting from this were three dots in a line.

Finally, a one inch cut was made under the chin, which healed with a very light almost invisible scar.

New York Skies: Civil War Era UFO Sighting
UFO Depiction
Published: 12:32 PM 8/2/2013

By Cheryl CostaFayetteville, North Carolina - 07-29-13 This year, many people are commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. In that spirit, I thought it appropriate to share a New York state UFO report from that era.

It was March 1861; President Abraham Lincoln had been inaugurated earlier in the month. Barely two months after the Confederacy had seceded from the Union.

The New York City of that era was a cramped urban setting before the age of tall buildings.

About midnight in a Five Points slum house on Baxter Street, Mrs. T. Richard Kinder was looking eastward out of an upper-floor window towards the Church of Transfiguration.

In the clear moonless sky, she saw a cross-like object with a flaming luminosity moving across the sky. She woke her husband, and he, too, saw the radiant cross.

This story comes to us from an obscure entry into a baptismal record from St. Peters Church, in Jersey City, N.J.

Perhaps the woman thought this was a sign from God and shared it with a priest. Confessions of sighting strange objects in the sky are still being heard by priests to this day.

This short account was scribbled into a cramped space at the bottom of an entry from 1858 in a baptismal book of St. Peter’s Church. It was probably scribbled on the old record because paper was precious in those days.

It should be noted that 1861 was 42 years before the Wright Brothers flew. A 2013 researcher dug through some newspaper archives probing for additional accounts. What he found was eye opening.

There weren’t any other accounts of the sighting, but there was a significant story about a Canal street fire, six blocks from Mrs. Kinder’s house. The newspaper states that a warehouse, a book bindery and a laboratory went up in a huge fire, effectively leveling an entire block.

Maybe the only reason the cross shaped craft was seen at all was because the light of the huge fire illuminated its reflective hull.

If you have a story to tell, I’d love to hear the when, where and what. Email it to NYSkies@DragonLadyMedia.com. The names of witnesses will be omitted to protect their privacy.

Truck Driver Spots Disc over Pennsylvania
UFO Depiction
Published: 6:24 AM 7/30/2013

Hazelton, Pennsylvania - 10-28-04

Driving for a national carrier, I expected to see the country and enjoyed the experience. My pickups and deliveries on occasion to Hazleton Pennsylvania usually went smoothly and this one did as well.

Starting to make the connection onto I-80, I noticed an object 30 x 50 feet cone-shaped, silver with black lines running down it off to my right, about 300 feet up.

Looking through the trees I first thought it was some building or something, but as I cleared the trees, I recognized it to be hovering almost directly over I-80.

I proceeded west and noticed a larger craft just above it; a huge disc with a sharp edge that tapered to the center.

The lower section of the craft lowered down while hovering and I did not see the smaller craft afterwards, so I presume it entered the larger craft.

The lower section appeared to be a louvered non-rotating level of the craft, maybe to dispatch and accept smaller craft. I looked over I-80 to the eastbound traffic and nobody was looking around up or down.

One couple was pointing towards the large craft and at first were surprised, then kind of fearful. I proceeded on to my destination all the while checking the CB and AM.

Multi-Colored, Flashing Lights Witnessed over California
UFO Depiction
Published: 11:47 AM 8/2/2013

California - 07-31-13 I was on the phone with a friend standing outside in my driveway at about 8:40 PM on July 31st when I noticed the multi-colored flashing lights in the sky.

At first glance, I thought it was a helicopter off in the distance. As I observed it for a minute, I knew it wasn’t a helicopter or a plane for a couple reasons.

Lights don’t flash in the random way these were flashing or use the multi-colors I saw. It was also silent and maneuvered in a way no plane or helicopter could.

I ran in the house to grab some of my family members to come look at this. As we went back outside it was closer to us than before and it looked like the lights were dancing around each other; then they would flatten out and come back together again, randomly flashing and randomly changing colors.

During this display, we lost sight of the object for the first time after about 5 minutes when it dropped below the trees. After about 2 minutes it rose back up in the sky and appeared to hover until it randomly danced around the sky and dipped below the tree line and didn’t come back.

The 4 of us were very puzzled as to what we just saw and are searching the web for any other sightings in this area that may have been reported.

1970, Cowichan District Hospital Sighting
UFO Depiction
January 1, 1970. It was New Year's Day, 1970, but it was supposed to be a routine morning shift at Cowichan District Hospital. Nurse Doreen Kendall had started her shift at midnight and was due to get off work at 8 a.m. Not much of a way to greet the New Year, but it was her job.

Doreen, a practical nurse, worked on the second floor of the hospital at Duncan, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Doreen lived in Nanaimo and commuted the twenty-six miles to Duncan.

At 5 a.m. Doreen and nurse Frieda Wilson began their usual morning rounds in a four-bed ward. While Frieda attended to the patient nearest the door, Doreen checked on the patient in the next bed, nearest the window. As she did every morning, she went to open the drapes in order to let in a little of the early morning sunshine.

When she opened the drapes, she was amazed to see something totally unexpected. Outside, about sixty feet away, a flying object was hovering at a height of about sixty feet, even with the third floor of the hospital. The object was saucer-shaped, with a transparent bubble-like dome in the center, and was tilted slightly towards her.

Because the object was tilted toward her, Doreen could see inside the transparent dome, where she saw two humanoid figures standing in front of a chrome, dial-covered instrument panel.

She estimated the figures to be about six feet tall, wearing dark clothing, and some sort of headgear. There were seats in front of the instrument panel, but the figures were standing rather than seated.

Doreen was stunned. The Cowichan area had a reputation as a UFO "hotspot," but she had never expected to see one herself.

As she watched, one of the men noticed her and touched the other, apparently to alert him of the fact that they were being watched. The other man looked up, and then manipulated a control, causing the object to begin to move.

At this point Doreen called to Frieda Wilson, who came to the window in time to see the object outside. The two then ran to the nurses station and told three other nurses, who reached the window in time to see the object, although it was some distance away by then.

The object circled several times and then vanished to the northeast at high speed. The sighting was never explained.
